MUJI BOSO Marche Hero image

A weekend where MUJI stores connect with the Boso region. Local restaurants, makers, and musicians come together — enjoy delicious food, listen to live music, and chat directly with shopkeepers and creators. A slightly special weekend experience.

Gathering the Best of Boso

MUJI BASE OIKAWA

Located in central Boso, Chiba Prefecture, MUJI BASE OIKAWA is a facility that repurposed the former Oikawa Elementary School, closed in 2013. It serves as both an accommodation facility and a gathering place for the local community, with a shop and coworking space. Our aim is to create a hub where connections with local life inspire new ideas and accumulate wisdom.

Rice Flour Sweets Mama dakko (Oct. 4–5) Instagram

A gluten-free sweets shop located in Futomi, a quiet town in Kamogawa City, Chiba. The store operates as both a café and a direct sales shop for freshly baked treats. The name Mamadakko comes from the idea of “gentle snacks, like a mother’s embrace.” We carefully select ingredients, make everything by hand, avoid white sugar, and minimize additives, creating sweets that are safe and comforting to enjoy.
